They are displayed on a brass structure with a stylized Art deco details and brass crown. It has been newly wired to fit US standards and is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.

Great set of stands. You have to tighten them pretty snugly to minimize wobble. Given they are metal they’ll have a little bit more give than solid wood. Even so,
a tall desk I built with them remains stable and level.
